Remember Leslie Benzies, the President of Rockstar Games? The man had hinted – not so long ago – that the company was working on a “big project” that was to release sometime in the near future. Well, we think that the time is here and this “big project” that he was referring to, is Red Dead Redemption 2.

Very recently, Feinstein – a Senior Engineer with Rockstar Games, best known for designing the Max Payne Series – revealed that his team was working on a new game, which will release soon. Despite numerous IPs – or Intellectual Property – from Rockstar at the moment, we feel that Red Dead Redemption 2 is a project that everyone is referring to.

Even though Manhunt 2 and Bully 2 are two popular franchises owned by Rockstar, none of them even compare to the Red Dead Redemption Series. We feel that every project will release eventually, but will follow in the footsteps of Red Dead Redemption 2.

This popular installment is expected to take gamers back to the Wild, Wild West, where you get to enjoy the lifestyle of a carefree cowboy, looking for adventure. “Red Dead is a permanent franchise at Rockstar Games and is a very profitable one. However, the only problem is that, they might end up postponing release dates due to the already crammed schedule.” A reputed online tabloid reported.

Some magazines have gone as far as claiming the “official release dates” of Red Dead Redemption 2. However, we could not corroborate the information and will hence abstain from publishing rumors. The only piece of confirmed news that we have right now is that Rockstar will release this game simultaneously on future consoles.
