The 16-year-old Modern Family star went to the outdoor market in the Studio City area with her father Glenn Workman and nieces Parker and Skylar.

The actress had her dark hair pulled back into a low bun as she enjoyed frozen treats with her nieces.
Her father kept cool in a tank-top with a surfing graphic and blue jeans and also indulged in a frozen dessert.
Ariel looked over her sister Shanelle's daughters during the family's regular visit to the farmers market.

The star last month saw her guardianship case resolved in a Los Angeles courtroom following a lengthy legal battle with her mother Chrystal Workman.
It was decided that Ariel would continue to live with her sister Shanelle Gray.
A temporary guardianship had been granted to her sister after a petition was filed alleging the actress' mother subjected her to emotional abuse.
Ariel's father initially supported his estranged wife in the guardianship battle but switched his allegiance last October and favoured leaving guardianship in the hands of Shanelle.

The actress' father will have control of her finances and will have to make regular reports to the court, which will retain jurisdiction over the actress and her care until she turns 18.
